Hamas hands 10-month old Israeli baby to Terror group

A ten-month-old Israeli boy, believed to be the youngest hostage held by Hamas, has been handed over to a separate Palestinian terror organization, eliciting condemnation for what family members described as “further psychological torture.”

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Arabic spokesman Avichay Adraee disclosed on Monday night, November 27, that the Bibas family, comprising infant Kfir, his four-year-old brother Ariel, and their parents, remained captive in the southern city of Khan Younis following this alarming development.

Adraee’s statement highlighted the distressing circumstances faced by infants in Hamas custody, where children under one year old have been confined without exposure to daylight for over 50 days. He criticized Hamas for treating these innocent children as mere possessions and occasionally transferring them to other terrorist groups within the Gaza Strip.

Specifically citing the case of the Bibas family, dubbed “The Reds” due to the red hair of the children, Adraee pointed out that they were abducted from their home in Nir Oz by a Hamas member. Presently, they are reportedly being held in the Khan Yunis area by another Palestinian faction.

The location of Khan Younis, where the Bibas family is allegedly being held, is anticipated to become a target for Israeli military action once the temporary cease-fire expires, as reported by The Telegraph. This has raised speculation that Hamas strategically relocated the infant to the city, possibly to leverage the situation in extending the truce.

The Bibas family, consisting of four members, was among the 240 individuals taken hostage by Hamas during their deadly attack on Israel that occurred on October 7.
