“GWR received 1,500 applications from Nigerians after Hilda Baci ” – Guinness World Record reveals

Guinness World Records has revealed that it has received an impressive number of applications from Nigerians, totaling approximately one thousand five hundred.

This surge in applications follows the recent achievement of chef Hilda Baci, who broke the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual a few months ago.

The trend of breaking records has gained significant popularity in Nigeria, leading to various marathons and challenges in an attempt to set new records.

These endeavors have included events such as the longest reading marathon, kissing marathon, sex marathon, additional cooking marathons, massaging marathons, and many others.

Guinness World Records confirmed that since Hilda Baci’s accomplishment, there has been a remarkable increase in the number of aspiring record breakers from Nigeria, resulting in the receipt of 1,500 applications.

GWR said, “The attention and excitement that Hilda Baci’s cooking marathon gained was certainly an incentive for many Nigerians to consider attempting a Guinness World Records title. Since her record attempt, there has been a spike in applications from Nigeria, particularly for marathon records.”
