Goodluck Jonathan survives accident

Former Nigerian president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has escaped what would have been a fatal accident yesterday.

One of the former President’s escort vehicles lost control in Abuja on Wednesday, April 6, claiming two lives.

 

His spokesman Ikechukwu Eze reportedly said, the former president was not personally affected in the accident.

 

According to him, only the vehicle carrying the policemen lost control and killed two policemen attached to him.

 

The incident happened when President Jonathan, was leaving the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to his residence in the city.

 

Reports showed that the former president was a special envoy of the regional bloc Ecowas.

 

Two other policemen who sustained injuries in the accident have since then, been taken to the hospital for medical attention.
