"Dead it now" -- Rema on joining Illuminati

In response to the widespread rumors linking him to the secretive society known as the Illuminati, Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, otherwise recognized as Rema, has officially reacted to the rumors.

The artist took to his official Instagram stories on Wednesday to set the record straight and disavow any affiliation with the clandestine group.

Rema, in his message, urged his fan base, affectionately known as “Ravers,” to assist in educating his new followers and to conduct thorough research about his background and heritage.

The artist emphasized the importance of understanding his roots and where he comes from, emphasizing that he has been on this journey for a long time.

The ‘Calm Down’ crooner went on to describe the Illuminati as “trash” and declared his belief in Jesus as the ultimate authority. He asserted that he has put in significant effort and dedication to create music that glorifies positive and supernatural forces, not sinister ones.

Rema stated,

“Day 1 Ravers, help me educate the new Ravers that I have been on this bat shit for a long time.

“You all would have so much clarity if you easily Google where I’m from, what the key colors of my heritage are, what flies in the skies of Benin every evening, etc.

“As I evolve, my execution will evolve unapologetically. Please know your artist. And that Illuminati talk is trash. I work too hard to create art for you guys to give the glory to some diabolical shit. Dead it now. Jesus is King.”
