Chelsea’s move for Dusan Vlahovic not straightforward

Mauricio Pochettino according to reports is not convinced about the move for Juventus striker, Dusan Vlahovic by his employers at Chelsea.

The Blues have been in talks to bring the Serbian to Stamford Bridge from the Serie A giants in what is reported to be a swap deal with Romelu Lukaku.

However, it is believed Juventus have not been able to reach an agreement over a fee for the Belgian striker.

The Serie A club are ready to include Dusan Vlahovic in the exchange but want a bargain fee of £34.4m (€40m) for the 23-year-old, as well as Romelu Lukaku.

According to the Guardian, senior figures at Chelsea are undecided or reportedly have mixed opinions on the signing of Vlahovic, with Pochettino among those who are ‘less keen’ on the former Fiorentina star.

The report adds that Chelsea are ‘unlikely’ to press ahead with a move for Dusan Vlahovic if their manager, Mauricio Pochettino is not fully on board with the idea, which the report states he isn’t.
