Chelsea vs. Manchester United: Confirmed Lineup

A grudge tie sets itself up at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea host Manchester United for a chance to improve on their current points tally.

With nothing left to chase for this season than perhaps a late fight for a European spot, the Blues only have glory to chase for against the Red Devils from Old Trafford.

Manchester United ran off with all 3-points in the earlier leg at Old Trafford, giving Chelsea all the more determination at the very least to steal something from the Red Devils. Unlike the Blues, Erik ten Hag’s team still believe there is something left to fight for this season; a late push for a 4th or 5th spot in the premier league table for a chance in the Champions League spot.

A point denied the Red Devils at this point, leaves United hanging on to a Europa League spot for next season.

For Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea, it is more about a performance against a top side this time around after crashing to a 2-2 draw versus a 10-man Burnley side last weekend, and Manchester United comes in time for that redemption story.

Can they do it? It remains to be seen however.
