President Bola Tinubu offers condolences to victims of Ogun gas explosion

President Bola Tinubu extended his heartfelt sympathies to the victims of the recent gas explosion in Ita-Oshin, Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

In a statement titled “President Tinubu sympathizes with victims of Ogun gas explosion,” issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, on Tuesday, Tinubu expressed solidarity with the Ogun State Government and residents affected by the tragic incident.

The statement lauded Governor Dapo Abiodun for his prompt response to the situation and assured of Tinubu’s commitment to supporting those impacted during this challenging period.

The gas tanker explosion, which occurred on Saturday along the Abeokuta-Sango-Lagos Expressway, resulted in the loss of one life, injuries to six individuals, and the destruction of six vehicles.
