Al Nassr sets Sadio Mane up for life as details of Contract leaks

Sadio Mane set for the big picture at Al Nassr.

Talk about preparing yourself for retirement, Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr are ready to commit former Liverpool man, Sadio Mane to a bumper harvest following his move from German club, Bayern Munich.

The former Liverpool man stands on the verge of securing an astounding move to Al Nassr, that makes him one of the highest-paid players in the Saudi Pro League (SPL).

Sadio Mane has seen his career face significant changes in the past year, but this latest move promises to be yet another game-changer in his career.

After a successful six-year career with Liverpool that saw victories in the Premier League and Champions League, Sadio Mane transferred to Bayern Munich last season for a reported £34 million fee.

The move however was a mixed one that was fazed with an injury lay off and a managerial change that affected his game with the Bavarian side.

The Senegalese was able to net 7 league goals while claiming a Bundesliga title at the end of the season.

However, the situation which seemed to have defined his time at the club was his suspension by the club following an altercation with teammate Leroy Sane after a 3-0 Champions League defeat to Manchester City.

If the move to Al Nassr comes through for Sadio Mane, he joins a host of former Liverpool teammates, Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson and possibly Fabinho in the Saudi Pro League.

The report from Sky Germany confirms that Al Nassr has reached an agreement with Bayern Munich, securing Sadio Mane for a £24 million fee. The Senegalese international is now set to undergo a medical examination in Dubai on Monday, signaling the imminent finalization of the move.

Upon completing the transfer, Mane will find himself as teammate to football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as summer signings Alex Telles, Marcelo Brozovic, and Seko Fofana at Al Nassr.

Reports also suggest that the talented forward will become one of the top earners in the Saudi Pro League, earning an incredible tax-free salary of more than £34 million per year.

This astonishing figure amounts to an impressive £650,000-a-week, that places Sadio Mane in the fifth ranking of the highest-paid players in Saudi Arabia.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema currently lead the top of the food chain, earning £173 million and £172 million, respectively.

A previous attempt to lure Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe could have placed the Frenchman in top spot with a world-record offer of £604 million for one year.

Mane’s contract with Al Nassr will run until 2027 with the Senegal international earning a jaw-dropping £134 million over the full duration of the deal.
