3 Storey Building Collapses in Delta

A crisis was seemingly averted in Delta as workers in a 3 storey building in Amacha community, Okpanam, in the Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State escaped death as it collapsed on Wednesday.

The building which was under construction, collapsed during a heavy downpour in the area right after the workers left site.

The reports come after an eyewitness revealed what actually happened in the hours of the building’s collapse.

“As they were coming to site this morning (Thursday) to continue their work, they saw that the building had collapsed,” he added.

The report also revealed that a few people around the building at the time of the incident had sustained minor injuries.

The incident was also corroborated by the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident, revealing no life was lost.
