Wike arrives Supreme Court ahead of Judgment

The die is set to be cast later today as the Supreme Court convenes for the final judgment of the 2023 presidential election, and former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike is on ground to take notes.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has made his way to the Supreme Court to witness the much-anticipated judgment concerning the 2023 presidential election.

Nyesom Wike, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a supporter of President Bola Tinubu, is present at the apex court to hear the court’s decision regarding the appeals filed challenging the victory of the president.

The seven-member panel of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Inyang Okoro, has convened to deliver the much-anticipated judgment. As the proceedings got underway, lawyers representing various parties in the case were duly acknowledged.

Chris Uche is representing Atiku Abubakar and the PDP, emphasizing their interests in the case.

Abdullahi Aliyu announced his representation for the Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC), the electoral body responsible for overseeing the election.

Akintola Makinde has taken up the mantle on behalf of President Bola Tinubu, and Olumide Olujinmi is standing in for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
