POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Tinubu, a chieftain of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), has been tipped as a possible successor to President Muhammadu Buhari. Amid Nigeria’s worsening health system, there are concerns over the possibility of Tinubu’s engaging in medical tourism if he becomes president. Several times, the 70-year-old’s hands have been seen shaking, a possible sign of ill health. Although Suleman did not mention any name, his message seems to be directed at those in Tinubu’s critics. “In as much as sound health is of essence in leadership, I still maintain that ‘mocking’ people with their health status way too low. RealMadrid star winger, Vinicius Jr has agreed to sign a new contract with the club that is worth €1billion release clause.
Football is definitely going crazy day by day, as ridiculous conditions are placed on players by clubs as some sort of collateral.
This release clause is placed on the table as a sort of deterrent to rival clubs who may in the future come to poach the player off from Madrid.
And also, to keep the player focused on the long term with Real Madrid without him having an easy way out of the club in earnest.
The contract that is to be agreed upon between Vinicius Jr and Real Madrid goes is a 4 year deal that runs through 2026.
Real Madrid, according to Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, initially wanted a longer term that ran through to 2028 but was shortened by Vinicius Jr’s camp in hindsight of future problems that might arise.
The official announcement and signature will take place in July ahead of the coming season.
Vinicius Jr is set to become one of the best paid players in the Madrid squad with a very much improved contract.
The contract negotiations comes after the player had quite the productive season, helping the club lift the double of both the La Liga Santander and the Champions League against runners up, Liverpool.
It seems very much the thank you message from Real Madrid to Vinicius Jr, one which the Brazilian will appreciate.
The Real Madrid winger according to unofficial sources, takes home an estimated €215,000 per week.
