Victory is around the corner over insecurity, Pastor Adeboye declares
The General Overseer, Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, discloses that Nigeria will experience astounding victory in its fight against insecurity in the country.
Adeboye, on Tuesday, declared this when he paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House in Kaduna.
“Victory is around the corner,” he told El-Rufai and offered prayers for him, the state and Nigeria.
“I am assuring you that the Almighty God is going to fight for you, He is going to fight for Kaduna State, He is going to fight for Nigeria,” Adeboye stated.
The General Overseer of RCCG portrayed the governor as a gracious man, who was misinterpreted by a lot of people.
“I know the kind of person you are, I know you are tender hearted, I know how you definitely must be feeling, particularly when the kidnappings are going on, when they begin to kidnap school children.”
The respected cleric urged Governor El-Rufai not to despair, but to put his trust in God always.
He said, “When God begins to do what He alone can do, then the world will see it and they will glorify the name of God, and many people who might be criticizing you now, will probably see the other side of the story.”
In his reply, El-Rufai sympathised with the Redeem Christian Church of God over the recent kidnapping of some pastors and worshippers in the state.
He said, “We also seek your blessings and prayers, as a great man of God, to assist us with the challenges that we are facing here and the country at large.
“This country needs divine intervention more than at any time in its history.
“We are grateful for your prayers, we are grateful for your blessings, and we will continue to ask for more.”
The Governor depicted RCCG as a pillar and symbol of Nigeria’s unity “and positive force for peace and progress” in the nation.
