We can all say it now, Feyenoord boss Arne Slot has officially signed the contract to become the next Liverpool manager as soon as Jurgen Klopp bids Anfield his farewell come Sunday.

The formal announcement is expected to be made soon, aligning with Liverpool’s planned timing for Jürgen Klopp’s farewell.

All necessary documents have been finalized between the clubs and with Slot himself, who has officially put pen to paper today. Feyenoord, Slot’s former club, will receive a compensation package of approximately €13 million for Slot and his staff, marking a record fee for Dutch football. This deal was skillfully negotiated by Feyenoord’s CEO, Dennis te Kloese.

Currently, the work permits for some of Slot’s staff members are still pending. Once these are secured, the transition will be fully completed.

Following the signing, Arne Slot confirmed, “I can confirm that I will be the new Liverpool manager next season.”

It is officially the end of an era and the beginning of a new one as Liverpool gear into untested waters with the arrival of Arne Slot on the touchline.
