What began as a passionate affair has now spiraled into a political nightmare, with Boccia claiming that Sangiuliano misused public funds and gave her insider access.

Using Ray-Ban Stories sunglasses equipped with a hidden camera, Maria Rosaria Boccia recorded herself inside the Palazzo Montecitorio—where filming is strictly prohibited—allegedly gathering incriminating evidence.

She has since released private conversations, audio recordings, and documents, claiming that the minister used government resources to fund her travels and secretly appointed her as a special adviser.

The 62-year-old minister, who publicly admitted to the affair and tearfully apologized to his wife and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, denied the allegations, insisting he funded most trips personally and that Boccia had no access to classified documents. However, Boccia continues to counter his claims by posting alleged proof of her involvement in official government activities.

The scandal has rocked Italy’s parliament, raising questions about corruption, secrecy, and the consequences of mixing personal relationships with political power.
