RCCG Pastor, others abducted in Oyo State bus incident

Olugbenga Olawore, a pastor from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), and several other passengers travelling in a 14-seater bus were kidnapped in Oyo State.

TopNaija gathered that the incident occurred on Friday along the Lanlate-Eruwa Road.

Sources said that the bus was en route to Lagos State.

Olawore, serving at Heavens Gate Parish, RCCG Lagos Province 73, along Agbara-Lusada Road in Ogun State. was returning from Ipapo town, where he was finalizing burial arrangements for his mother.

The burial was scheduled for May 3rd.

According to DAILY POST, the incident occurred at the Maya axis of Lanlate-Eruwa Road at about 5 pm on Friday.

The state police command confirmed the RCCG pastor kidnapped and others, stating that investigations are ongoing.

In reacting to a DAILY POST inquiry, Osifeso stated, “The investigation is ongoing.

“Updates will be provided accordingly, please”.
