What I Really Want -- Victor Osimhen

With Liverpool set to loose Sadio Mane, clubs around Europe would be looking to profit, either on the buying side or on the selling side.

And one man looking to profit is Napoli President, Aurelio de Laurentiis, who has told the Merseyside club that a €100m bid would land Victor Osimhen at Anfield.

A month ago, the Nigeria International declared that he was open to a move to the Premier League with his agents being given the ‘green light’ to market him to teams in England, with reports that he was only open to teams playing Champions League football.

Corriere dello Sport now reports that Napoli president de Laurentis isn’t holding back on selling the striker as long as the likes of Liverpool and Bayern Munich are able to pay at least £86m (€100m) to sign Osimhen.

Osimhen, 23, is a fearless player that boasts of goal scoring abilities along with a pressing prowess that would appeal to Liverpool.

The former Ligue 1 striker started 26 games in all competitions for Napoli in the recently concluded season and contributed in 24 goals (18 goals and 6 assists).

What Osimhen can offer Liverpool is a route to goal that not many are able to. He’s able to bully defenders and force them into mistakes that they may not with a tricky, attacker like Diogo Jota.

Meanwhile,  Corriere dello Sport reported that Manchester United have also requested information on a possible Osimhen move to Old Trafford multiple times.
