Mavins @ 12: Low key celeb Don Jazzy celebrates achievement

Renowned music producer Don Jazzy recently reflected on the remarkable journey of MAVIN Records as the label commemorated its 12th anniversary, showcasing its impressive roster of artists and achievements, including over 40 billion streams.

MAVIN Records stands as a cornerstone in Nigeria’s music industry, boasting a roster of more than 10 current and former signees who have left an indelible mark on the music landscape.

During the anniversary celebration, Don Jazzy shared video highlights showcasing the label’s evolution since its inception in 2012, expressing gratitude to supporters who have contributed to its success over the past twelve years.

The label’s artists have collaborated on numerous chart-topping hits, such as “Dorobucci” and “Amina,” which have resonated with audiences and significantly impacted the music scene.

MAVIN Records has served as a launching pad for several artists who have gone on to achieve substantial solo success, including Johnny Drille, Ayra Starr, Rema, Ladipoe, Crayon, and Bayanni, among others.

While celebrating the label’s achievements, Don Jazzy also acknowledged the contributions of former MAVIN members such as Tiwa Savage and Reekado Banks, who have since departed but continue to thrive in the music industry.
