Man United Choose The Silent Treatment With Ronaldo, For Now

A lot has been made about football’s famous star, Cristiano Ronaldo and his explosive interview on Man United with Piers Morgan that many speculated the Old Trafford side rushing into making a decision before the narratives goes out of hand.

However, the Red Devils are sitting their judgment out at the moment, instead choosing to play the silent game with the star forward before taking any decisions.

The club has taken action in response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent explosive interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, Manchester United announced on Friday.

Man United made this disclosure in a website-based statement.

Quite a lot of reports and punditry analysis have speculated the club takes immediate disciplinary actions towards terminating Ronaldo’s contract at the club in response to the interview, but the Manchester United looks set to be taken the opposite direction to let the situation calm before taking further actions.

During an interview with Morgan, Ronaldo had criticized Manchester United and their manager Erik ten Hag.

The 37-year-old said that Ten Hag had betrayed him and that the Red Devils had done so.

The statement read, “Manchester United has this morning initiated appropriate steps in response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent media interview.

“We will not be making further comments until this process reaches its conclusion.”

At the World Cup in Qatar this year, Ronaldo is presently training with the Portugal national squad.
