Man leaks nude photos of Widows to Church WhatsApp Group

A Lagos-based businessman, Amarah Kennedy, has caused uproar and distress by circulating the nude photos of two single mothers he had previously been involved with.

The shocking act involved sending the explicit images to a WhatsApp group associated with the church of one of the victims, identified as Kester.

Kennedy also shared the photos with her late husband’s family members and colleagues, displaying a callous disregard for the privacy and well-being of the affected women.

In a chilling statement, Kennedy declared, “By the time I am done, suicide will be her only option,” highlighting his malicious intent. Kester confirmed that her in-laws and pastor had reached out to express their support and solidarity during this distressing time.

Over the course of a single day, Kennedy sent the explicit photos to at least 48 individuals. In a previous report, it was revealed that both Kester and another woman, identified as Temi, had connected with Kennedy separately through various WhatsApp and Facebook chat groups for singles.

Kester, who tragically lost her husband in a car accident eight years ago, recounted how Kennedy showered her with monetary gifts after initiating contact.

However, following a disagreement, he resorted to sending her over 50 nude photos that he had taken without her knowledge during their intimate encounters in a hotel.

Kennedy demanded a sum of N100,000 as a condition for deleting the photos, which Kester reluctantly paid. To her dismay, he then demanded an additional N40,000 to permanently delete the images, which she also sent.

Despite complying with his demands, Kennedy callously proceeded to circulate the explicit photos on Facebook. This reprehensible act left Kester traumatized and even pushed her to attempt suicide on two occasions, as she faced public scrutiny and questioning from those who had seen the images.

Temi, the second victim, revealed that Kennedy engaged in prolonged sexual encounters with her at hotels while under the influence of drugs. Following her realization that he was not genuinely interested in a serious relationship and was merely exploiting her, she cut off contact.

In response, Kennedy sent her several nude photos and demanded reimbursement for all the money he had spent on their relationship. Temi borrowed N15,000, which she sent to him. When she sought help from Kennedy’s sister on Facebook, he retaliated by circulating the explicit photos.

After the initial report was published, Kennedy resorted to threatening the reputation of the victims further, claiming they had “spoiled his image.” He continued to send the nude photos to additional family members and acquaintances, revealing his vindictive nature.

Screenshots obtained by PUNCH Metro highlighted the extent of Kennedy’s malicious actions and his ongoing communication with the victims and their friends, taunting them with the recipients of the explicit images.

Despite being aware that the police are pursuing him, Kennedy has managed to evade capture, maintaining contact with a select few individuals on WhatsApp. It is believed that he has installed an anti-tracking system on his phone.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, has intervened in the case, and Kester reported her ordeal to the Pen Cinema Divisional Police Officer and the Commissioner. Both authorities have assured Kester of their commitment to ensuring justice is served not only for her but also for any other women who may have fallen victim to Kennedy’s manipulative tactics.

Following investigations by the rights group, Black Diamonds Support Foundation, led by Adewunmi Adefunke, it was discovered that nine widows and three single mothers had been subjected to blackmail by Kennedy.

This revelation further emphasizes the need to hold him accountable for his reprehensible actions and provide support to those affected by his malicious conduct.
