Man Kills Wife, Cuts Off Her Private Parts Over Suspected Infidelity

The police in Malawi have apprehended a 27-year-old man, Mkwate Chimbizi, on suspicion of brutally killing his wife after accusing her of infidelity.

The incident took place in the Ngabu area of Chikwawa, Malawi, and has sent shockwaves through the community.

According to a statement by Edward Kabango, the spokesperson for the South East Police Region, Chimbizi allegedly carried out a gruesome act, severing his wife’s breasts and private parts before beheading her.

The motive behind the murder was reportedly Chimbizi’s suspicion that his 23-year-old wife, Luwiza Leonard, was engaged in an extramarital affair.

Law enforcement officers arrested Chimbizi on Thursday, June 8, following their investigation.

The suspect then led the police to a location where he had buried his wife’s head, which was discovered in a decomposed state.

Additionally, it is alleged that Chimbizi disposed of his wife’s genitalia and breasts by throwing them into a pit latrine.

According to the police spokesperson, the couple had a heated argument that escalated into a violent altercation. Chimbizi is said to have struck Luwiza on the head with a stone, resulting in her immediate death.

He then proceeded to decapitate her and mutilate her body.

The tragic incident occurred on June 3, 2023, and efforts are currently underway to locate and recover the victim’s body.

The local community has been left in shock and mourning as news of the horrific crime spreads.

The arrest of Mkwate Chimbizi serves as a stark reminder of the need to address issues of domestic violence and ensure the safety and protection of individuals within intimate relationships.
