Man Dies One Week To Priestly Ordination After Posting Cryptic Message

Mr Hillary Tobechukwu Eze, a seminarian of the Nsukka Catholic Diocese, died in a sad incident one week before his ordination as a deacon.

Eze, who was to be consecrated as a deacon on December 23, 2023, died on Friday.

The deceased was from Ehalumona town in Enugu State’s Nsukka Local Government Area.

TopNaija learned that he was on his way to their ordination retreat with his friends when he was involved in an accident and died on the spot.

He had shared a cryptic post on his Facebook page days preceding up to his death, as if he knew he was going to die.

In one of his messages, Eze said that he had no idea where he was going, but he was rushing there. When he was unsure where he was going, Eze reminded himself that Jesus was the one directing the route.

He wrote, “I sincerely do not understand where I am heading to but I am rushing to that place. Why?

“Jesus is the one leading the way.”

Another of his post read: “Dabere Chineke (God).

“Lord, I put my trust in you.”
