Man cancels wedding over fiancée’s online comment on cheating in marriage for money

A Nigerian man was said to have called off his wedding after being shown a comment of his wife claiming she can cheat in marriage for money.

The soon-to-be-married fiancèe had commented ‘Yes’ when a Facebook user asked its female audience if they could cheat on their husband for a little sum of N1 million.

An individual who knew the couple saw her comment online screenshotted her comment and forwarded it to her fiance.

The husband-to-be had no choice but to call off the wedding which was supposed to hold in December 2022.

A Twitter user known as Josephine @JojoNitq shared the story on the microblogging platform.

The tweet reads; ”A man canceled his wedding that was supposed to take place in December 2022 ….because the bride to be commented yes on Facebook that she can cheat on the husband for 1Million naira …someone that knows her screenshot it and showed the guy….was the man’s action right?”
