Liverpool are set to renew premier league hostilities with Birmingham side, Aston Villa FC in the fourth week of the 2023/24 EPL season at Anfield.

With Villa manager, Unai Emery on a consistent winning streak since the opening weekend defeat to Newcastle United, the former Villarreal and Arsenal boss will be looking to soil things for Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool on the other hand have earned some consistency since their opening weekend draw at Stamford Bridge versus Chelsea, and will be looking to continue on that form, bar the Red Card disadvantage in the recent games as they host Aston Villa.

Aston Villa has a chance to go top of Liverpool if they are able to salvage a victory against the Reds, but the 19 times Premier League champions could go further to put themselves into title challenging narratives if they can carve out 3 wins from 4 as the season builds on.

The Birmingham side however as Unai Emery has confirmed will be looking to steal a spot in the top 4 places or Europe this season, and a statement could be made in their trip to Anfield.
