Lawyer reveals what will happen if Sunday Igboho is extradited to Nigeria
Chief Yomi Alliyu (SAN) who is the lawyer to Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho, has revealed what will happen if Igboho is extradited to Nigeria.
He made the revelation while speaking to journalists on Tuesday about Igboho’s arrest.
The lawyer said the activist might be killed or he might not get justice from the Nigerian government, urging the Benin Republic authorities not to release his client to Nigeria.
“He cannot get justice or he can even be killed. This is apparent in how those arrested in his house were detained for more than 21 days now without access to their lawyers”, the lawyer said.

He also revealed that Igboho’s wife, Ropo Adeyemo could not change her underwears for 21 days.
“Again another wife of our client, Mrs Ropo Adeyemo, a German citizen, has been arrested together with her husband in Cotonou. She could not change her undies for 21 days. What offence has she committed to warrant this?
“We urge the good government of the Republic of Benin and the international community, especially Germany, to rise up and curb the impunity of the Nigerian Government by refusing any application for extradition of our client who already has an application before ICC duly acknowledged.”
