FIFA Women’s World Cup winner, Jennifer Hermoso was taken by storm when Spanish Football Federation president, Luis Rubiales went in for the passionate kiss on stage than a hug after the world cup triumph in Australia.

Luis Rubiales caused quite the controversy during the medal presentation after the football chief was seen kissing the World Cup winner on the lips.

The Spain Women’s team secured a 1-0 victory against England in the Sunday affair, with a class display to nullify what the Lionesses threw at them as the La Roja team guarded Olga Carmona’ first-half strike to secure the trophy lift that was marked by colorful celebrations.

Luis Rubiales, who is quite familiar with many of the players, went in a little bit wild during the medal presentation as he was captured hugging, kissing a couple of the players on the cheek while lifting a few off the ground.

However, Rubiales drew quite the reaction with his mouth-to-mouth on Jennifer Hermoso, raising eyebrows and controversy along the way.

The Spanish Football Federation President was seen first hugging the 33-year-old striker before grabbing her by the head and kissing her on the lips.

Reacting to the subsequent backlash, Jennifer Hermoso took on to her social media page to address the awkward moment.

Hermoso revealed she did not like the controversial moment while on her Instagram Live.

However, Jennifer Hermoso in the moment was captured laughing.
