ISWAP bread factory discovered in Borno

In a significant development, troops of Operation Lake Sanity III, Operation Hadin Kai, have uncovered an Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) bread production factory in Maisani, Timbuktu Triangle, located in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.

According to Zagazola Makama, a counter-terrorism expert, intelligence sources revealed that the discovery of the ISWAP bread factory was made during an operation conducted by the Combined troops of 199 Special Forces Battalion in collaboration with Hybrid Forces and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) over the weekend.

Makama, posting on X, stated, “The sources said the factory was destroyed while items recovered include 2 Lister generating plants, 1 baking machine, and several baking materials.”

Furthermore, Makama disclosed that the week-long clearance operation led to the complete eradication of terrorists from their strongholds in the Timbuktu Triangle, encompassing Buk, 1, 2, and 3, Talala, Ajigin, Dusula, Abulam, and Gorgi.
