“I’m Not Responsible for DJ Splash’s Mental Illness” – Naira Marley speaks

Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has ascertained that he doesn’t have a hand in the mental illness of DJ Splash.

His statement comes after allegations that he also had a part to play that led to the death of Nigeria’s own singer, Mohbad.

Reacting to the accusation of contributing to DJ Splash’s insanity, he stated that he was not the cause of the DJ’s illness.

According to some rumors, it was alleged that DJ Splash ran mad after taking substances given to him by the Marlian team.

DJ Splash’s mother said in a recent video uploaded by actress Iyabo Ojo during her visit that her son has been emotionally disturbed since leaving Naira Marley’s residence.

Marley, however, rejected all of the charges in an interview with Reno Omokri on Thursday.

He claims that DJ Splash was never legally contracted to his music company, and that he is not to blame for the DJ’s mental illness.

He also said that the DJ had left Marlian Records before his mental problems started.

He said, “DJ Splash was never signed to Marlian Music. I know him as a DJ, but he has never deejayed with me at shows or anything, it is not like he is my DJ. They just gave him the title because I have a picture with him.

He added that he did not know how the DJ’s mental instability started, and neither was he (DJ Splash) still associated with Marlian Records at the time.

“When whatever happened to him, he was not at my house, and I do not understand where all this is coming from,” he noted.
