“I’ve just arrived the country to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation” — Naira Marley speaks

Popular Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has disclosed that he is currently in the country to help the Police with their investigations into the cause of death of Nigerian singer, Mohbad.

TopNaija recalls that Naria Marley was concerned about the safety of his life, making him not return to the country, after videos of assaults Mohbad had faced while he was alive.

As regards that, he had told the authorities that he would assist with the investigation only if his safety were guaranteed.

The CEO of Marlian Music took to social media to announce his arrival with the update that he would help find justice for his ex signee.

He wrote,

“I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail”

The Marlian Music boss was asked if he would return to Nigeria in a recent interview with Reno Omokri.

He said,

“100% if they can guarantee my safety. There are a lot of angry men that don’t want me there. They know the truth but they have been poisoned by the media. If they can guarantee my safety, I will be there”.
