“I almost didn’t recognize my wife after her pregnancy” — Funnybone

Comedian Stanley Chibunna, known in the entertainment world as Funnybone, and his wife recently welcomed their first child. The couple shared the joyous news earlier this month.

In a heartfelt message posted on his Instagram account, Funnybone revealed the hardships his wife endured during her pregnancy, describing it as so severe that he almost couldn’t recognize her. In a light-hearted and humorous manner, he humorously suggested that he contemplated calling his wife’s father to request a “refund” at one point.

“We are extremely Grateful and Blessed. Words can’t even express the Joy I feel deep within my heart,” Funnybone wrote in his Instagram post. He went on to playfully remark on the challenges his wife faced during her pregnancy, stating, “Dear Mummy Zim, This Belle showed you Shege shaa, and I did not recognize you again. I almost called your dad for a refund o.”

The comedian’s post also contained a shout-out to all mothers, acknowledging the tremendous sacrifices they make and recognizing them as the “real MVPs” in the journey of parenthood.
