“From Grace to Grass” – Social media reacts as once-famous ‘Happie Boys’ spotted buying bread by roadside

A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions on social media by sharing a video capturing the moment the once-famous Nigerians, the Happie Boys, are buying bread by the roadside.

The video is captioned: “Guys, I saw the Happie Boys today, seems the tables have turned.”

Her statement comes months after the deportation of the Happie Boys from Cyprus. This also follows a strained relationship with their sponsor, a Nigerian pastor who brought them to Cyprus for studies after taking them from their workplace.

During their time in Cyprus, the Happie Boys were captured in multiple videos making derogatory remarks about the OPM pastor who had been supportive of them, causing humiliation.

Months later, following a strained relationship, they were reportedly sent back to Nigeria.

A Nigerian lady was captured on video interacting with the Happie Boys while purchasing a loaf of bread late at night at an undisclosed location.

She expressed sympathy for the boys and reflected on the potential happiness they could have experienced in Cyprus had they not gone against their sponsor, the OPM pastor.

The statement of the lady reads: “So guys, I saw the Happie Boys today. Honestly, the Happy Boys don’t look happy. Honestly, it’s not good to bite the hand that feeds you, especially a man of God.”

“I really feel they need to go back to Pastor OPM and apologize and beg for his forgiveness because this is just going from grace to grass. They just messed up, they had a great opportunity but they messed up. Look at them, back to square one all over again.”

The video of the lady attracted the attention of many individuals who have stormed the comment page of the post to share their thoughts.
