THE ONE WHO BERATES YOU: Words are very powerful and have the ability to make or mar us. Any man who verbally abuses you and calls you all kinds of denigrating names is a man you do not want in your life.

THE ONE WHO DISCOURAGES YOU: If you’re with someone who puts down any idea you have to better yourself, he doesn’t want the best for you. He probably wants to keep you dependent on him so he can use that to manipulate you. Kick him to the curb girl!

THE ONE WHO GIVES YOU RULES: I read somewhere that the best kind of relationships are those where both parties are allowed to be themselves. A man who tells you to stop talking to friends, or stop going out, or sell your car cause he feels it’s too expensive for you, is giving you signs of a control freak. That’s a sign of impending doom. THE ONE WHO YELLS AT YOU: Any man who resorts to yelling at you when you have disagreements clearly does not respect you. It’s even worse if he thinks he’s the only one who’s allowed to shout at you; you’re not allowed to retaliate.

THE ONE WHO DOESN’T APPRECIATE YOU: If he doesn’t give you words of motivation, doesn’t tells you how amazing you are, or he doesn’t take the time to lift you up when you’re down, then he doesn’t need to be in your life.
