6 Reasons Why Getting A Tattoo Might Be A Bad Idea

Published

on

In this part of the world tattoo’s are commonly frowned upon and people who have tattoo’s are assumed to have joined ‘Bad Gang’. Getting your body tattoo’d usually has more con’s than pro’s and here are a few on the reasons why you should even think of getting a tattoo.

1. IT MIGHT GET INFECTED AND COST YOU A BODY PART
If you go to the wrong place or deal with a “tattoo artiste” who doesn’t quite know what they’re doing, the results can be disastrous. A dirty or infected needle can cost you a lifetime of health troubles – in some cases, quite literally an arm or a leg. So be very, very careful where you go and who you deal with.

2. YOUR BODY WILL EVENTUALLY SAG
Your body will tend to sag a bit in some most unexpected places as you age. Tummies tend to extend, and your arms gets a bit lax. Of course, the tattoos you have in these areas will also age, and not always well.

3. YOU WOULD PROBABLY REGRET GETTING THE TATTOO
Hard as it may be to believe at your stage of life, the priorities of a teenager or young adult aren’t exactly those of a middle aged or elderly person. As such, the radical wicked tattoos you have on your various limbs and hindquarters might be a source of acute embarrassment in later life, for any number of reasons. You might want to consider this before you go getting “Burna Boy 4 Eva” permanently tattooed on your body.

4. ITS MORE EXPENSIVE TO REMOVE IT THAN GETTING IT
At an older age you might get tired of a tattoo and want it to be removed. To get a good tattoo wont be up to 50k but to remove it would cost you nothing less than 300-500k. Is it really worth it?

5. SOME TATTOO’S ARE USED AS CULT AND GANG SIGNS
This may sound like the silliest reason not to get a tattoo, but you just never know. Cult members have long used tattoos to mark off their various ranks and accomplishments (consider the significance of the well known “skull” tattoo). You don’t want to move to an area where a favorite symbol or object has been appropriated for the use of a local organization of thugs. Nor do you want to be identified with said characters in any way, shape, or form.

6. KISS THAT CORPORATE JOB GOODBYE
Beyond the danger of having your tattoos associated with the insignia of a local gang of hoodlums, there’s also the danger of acquiring the ill favor of a potential employer. If you’re applying for a position in a bank or dentist’s office, you probably want to cover up the tattoos on your arms. Of course, bosses in some environments are more lenient than others. But, in general, if you’re going to be working with the public in a professional capacity, you probably don’t want them gawking at your masked executioner tattoo while you’re considering their loan application.
