Fast and Furious star, Vin Diesel faces Sexual Assault allegations

Fast and Furious star, Mark Sinclair, famously known as Vin Diesel faces a legal suit from former assistant, Asta Jonasson alleging sexual assault while working on one of the “Fast and Furious” films.

The alleged incident took place in 2010 within a St. Regis hotel suite, during the production of the movie “Fast Five,” as outlined in the lawsuit filed on Thursday, December 21, 2023, in Los Angeles.

Asta Jonasson has accused Diesel of inappropriate behavior, including groping, forcing a kiss, and engaging in lewd acts in front of her at his Atlanta hotel room in 2010.

The purported assault occurred within a week of her employment with Diesel and his production company, One Race Productions, during the filming of “Fast Five.”

According to details published by Vanity Fair, the lawsuit alleges that during a late-night instance in September 2010, Jonasson was asked to remain in Diesel’s suite at the St. Regis hotel while he entertained women he had brought back from a club.

After the other women departed, the lawsuit claims Diesel forcibly pulled Jonasson onto the bed by grabbing her wrists. She managed to break free, sought refuge by the suite’s front door, hoping for his departure.

Quoting excerpts from the lawsuit, Vanity Fair detailed that Jonasson, in fear for her safety and job security, felt hesitant to more aggressively rebuff her boss.

However, the lawsuit further narrates that Diesel escalated the situation by physically assaulting Jonasson, touching her inappropriately despite her protests, and eventually masturbating in her presence.

Vin Diesel is yet to respond to the lawsuit as at the moment of publishing.
