Family thrown into Mourning as decomposed bodies of Husband, Wife and Children are found in Apartment

It’s a bitter one for the family and close friends of Lawrence Olorungbo, his wife and 3 children as their decomposed bodies were found in their Apapa apartment of Lagos State.

It was revealed that the bodies were found after several efforts to reach out to Lawrence and the wife through their respective cell phones, only for a visit by an associate of theirs to bring about news of their demise.

The associate was said to have reached out to their apartment, called on their attention as the door was revealed to have been locked from inside only to be met by deafening silence and a smell round the place.

The associate was said to have reported to the Apapa Police Station to alert policemen on his observation.

It was his report that led the Officers to force their way into the building to the sight of the lifeless corpse of the family.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the report revealing in a statement quoted by Punch:

“The incident is true; they met the entire family dead and they have been evacuated but the autopsy has not been concluded. An investigation is ongoing.

“How the corpses were discovered was that the husband’s number was not going through, so they went to check him at home and the decomposing corpses of him and his wife were found.

“Paper works for the autopsy is ongoing, but everything indicates that the suspected cause of the victims’ death was generator fumes. The direction of the generator’s exhaust indicates that the fume emitting from the generator was the suspected cause of their deaths. But the autopsy will be done soon.”
