“Don’t trouble Nigerians over Zack Orji” — Charly Boy warns Minister

Renowned Nigerian entertainer Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, widely known as Charly Boy, has taken aim at Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, following her recent visit to the bedside of ailing actor Zack Orji at a private hospital in Abuja.

In a post shared on X, Charly Boy directly addressed Musawa, branding her an attention seeker and downplaying the significance of her visit. He expressed his opinion that Zack Orji’s health concerns are minuscule compared to the larger issues facing Nigeria.

The outspoken entertainer questioned the tangible impact of such visits on pressing national issues like the escalating price of petrol and the rising cost of living in the country.

In his statement, Charly Boy emphasized that while Zack Orji is a respected icon with visible contributions, the country grapples with more critical and pressing challenges.

“Chronic attention seekers make we hear word. Nigeria currently has a bigger terminal problem bigger than Zack Orji. Don’t get it twisted, He’s a respected Nigerian icon. His contributions are there for all to see.

“If una wan help Zack, carry am go abroad since na una strong supporter. National hospital is a mortuary.”

He provocatively suggested that if there were genuine intentions to assist Zack Orji, the appropriate action would be to consider transferring him abroad for treatment rather than mere visits, implying that such gestures lack substantial impact.

Charly Boy concluded his criticism by dismissing the efficacy of the National Hospital, dubbing it a “mortuary” in an apparent commentary on the healthcare system’s shortcomings.
