Cristiano Ronaldo has always been on the media lately, either over his potential exit from Manchester United or for his actions in trying to force the move.
But his new critics are not basing their criticisms on his potential exit from the club but his behavior during the club’s pre-season friendly against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest critic happens to be Manchester United insider, Neil Custis who slams the Ballon d’or winner for walking out of the stadium at half-time, way before the full time whistle.
Custis believes the Portuguese set up quite the negative example with his behavior even though the club has stated they see no issue with his action.
It is no longer news that Cristiano Ronaldo from his recent behavior wants to move out of the Old Trafford side as he badly wants Champions League football ahead of the coming season.
And his recent actions and behavior, has done quite well to alienate the Manchester United fan base from the player, particularly with the fact the star left too early without taking the time to acknowledge the fans.
“It is not a good look to leave early when you have been involved in the squad.” Custis condemns.
“It is different if you are up in the stands and not involved. You would expect someone who has played in the game to be in the changing rooms at the end to listen to the manager’s thoughts.
“Also a lot of people were there to see him and he was not even involved in the clapping of the fans after the final whistle,” Custis told SunSport.
Cristiano Ronaldo has received quite the criticism and provoked a lot of conversation regarding his future at Manchester United, and a recent session on SKy Sports featuring Melissa Reddy highlights on certain factors on his future.
