Conspiracy theory emerges between Anthony Taylor and Klopp

Liverpool fans on Twitter (or X as it is now called) have an uncanny eye for statistics, and if there is anything to highlight on such facts, it is the love-hate relationship between English referee, Anthony Taylor and Jurgen Klopp.

The Liverpool manager has had quite a number of run ins with referees since becoming the club’s manager, with Jurgen Klopp having thrown jabs at a number of them after decisions and calls went against his team.

Likewise, former Premier League referee Keith Hackett has one time blasted the Liverpool boss for his off pitch and on pitch antics in games.

From his famous feud with Paul Tierney, Jurgen Klopp hasn’t gone any season in his 8-plus years at Liverpool without an issue with a Premier League referee.

And with such narratives, it didn’t take long for conspiracy theories to emerge as to why some certain Liverpool fixtures have had some hostilities from match day officials; the Tottenham Hotspur versus Liverpool clash comes into focus.

According to statistics gathered by the Liverpool fanbase, Klopp has suffered 81 Premier League losses in his Liverpool career from 468 games.

57 of them according to the Reds’ fanbase have come when the referee; stressing on Paul Tierney.

From 40 of those 57 loses, Antony Taylor stands the referee in them.

Hence, this places Liverpool at a 70% disadvantage if Anthony Taylor runs on field as the match day official.

This is so far nothing but conspiracy theories considering the Reds have also won games with Anthony Taylor as matchday official, but statistics as such may point to agenda against Jurgen Klopp from English referees.
