Boys recording themselves captured the moment an explosion rocked Ibadan [Video]

A video making rounds on social media captured the moment some boys were making a video of the exact moment the explosion was felt in their room.

In the video shared online, three boys were recording themselves in their room before the gas explosion in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Recall that there was an explosion in Ibadan on Tuesday evening, Jan. 16.

A video shared online captured the impact of the explosion.

In the video, three boys are seen singing along to a song and dancing while filming themselves. Immediately, a loud bang can be heard and the boys run for cover.

The impact of the explosion caused a part of the ceiling in the room to cave in.

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has said the explosion was caused by illegal miners who stored explosive devices in a building in Bodija.

Two people were killed and 77 were injured in the explosion.
