Bandits Headline The News: Kill APC Chieftain in Kaduna, Take Hostages
Again, the Bandits surge, and it took them a Monday night; the 25th April, to kill several residents in Northern Kaduna. They carried their activities leaving a considerable number injured during an attack in Kagarko Local Government Area in Kaduna.
Reports also state the terrorists in their number took hostages from within the communities while also stealing a number of cattle, and in among their victims; was the life of a party chieftain from the All Progressives Congress (APC), the person of Iliya Auta of the Aribi Ward.
The bandits who are alleged to have operated from the forest areas within the local government, are said to have been on a destructive path for months, kidnapping and killing in their droves a number of people while demanding ransoms from victims.
The State Government so far remain quiet as to the incident and have not released any official statement regarding the news as at when it broke.
The raid and conquests of Armed bandits have been a developing story so far particularly from Northern Nigeria while the security officials within the country and the affected States wrestle to contain them.
