Armed bandits kill two soldiers and abduct a Chinese national in Niger
At least two soldiers and a Chinese national were abducted during an attack carried out by bandits in Magama local government area of Niger state on Monday, May 17.
According to reports, the bandits armed with weapons stormed Libale community in Nasko, Magama local government area and began shooting sporadically. This resulted in an exchange of fire between the bandits and the military who were protecting the Chinese nationals working on a construction site in the community.
The state police command is yet to comment on the incident.
