Main purpose of the job
Manage the P&L for the business (but not owning the P&L)
Ensure management system adherence and compliance
Ensure process adherence / alignment with business controls
Accurately and timeously report on the Signings, Revenue, Cost and GP
Ensure corporate guidelines are applied
Assist in ensuring mitigation of risks where applicable
Key responsibilities
Drive and be responsible for all operations in achieving the FY plan for Signings, Revenue, GP and PTI for the business
Management of signings and revenue roadmap, driving to achieve and exceed commits and budget
Tracking of Signings
Working with the sales team to ensure mandatories are completed and in place for all deals
Ensuring contracts are loading timeously and accurately (check billing plans etc)
Ensure billings/invoices/project signoffs & timesheets are processed correctly and timeously
Assist in driving business for timely payments (reduce aged debt)
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Degree/Diploma in Finance
Finance background essential
Excellent with Excel
Powerpoint and MS Word knowledge required
Administrative and office skills
Must be organised with good time management
Good communication skills
Personal competencies
Be dedicated, positive and proactive
Have good verbal communication
Must be able to handle pressure/conflict (i.e. month, quarter, year end deadlines)
Must be self motivated and a team player
Have a good personal balance
