Timaya concerned, warns Nigerians living in South Africa following semi-final win
Nigerian music sensation, Timaya, has taken to social media to issue a cautionary message to his fellow countrymen residing in South Africa.
In light of Nigeria’s triumphant semi-final win in the AFCON football tournament, there has been an outpouring of celebrations on various social media platforms.
However, amidst the jubilations, concerns have arisen regarding the safety of Nigerians living in South Africa.
Timaya, through a tweet, urged his compatriots to exercise prudence and remain indoors to avoid any potential violence or confrontations that may arise following the football match.
“If you’re a Nigerian and in SA tonight pls just DEY YOUR DEY!,” Timaya wrote.
