Recall that Joe Anatune, the media aide of Professor Charles Soludo, has been called to glory. The National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Grand Alliance has commiserated with the Anambra State Governor.

It was reported that Anatune died on Saturday, a few days after his 62nd birthday, and a little over a week after he bagged a government appointment.

In a statement titled, “Accept our condolences”, issued on Sunday, the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Victor Oye, said, “I write on behalf of the National Executive Committee of our great party, APGA, to commiserate with you on the sudden demise of your aide, Joe Anatune, which sad event occurred on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

“That he died less than two weeks after his elevation to the position of the Managing Director, Anambra State Signage and Advertising Agency (ANSAA) makes his exit more painful and mysterious.

“But what could we have done in circumstances like this when no human effort would have reversed the incident? All we should do at this time is to place our hope and trust in God – the Author and Finisher of our faith.

“We pray to Him to grant Joe’s soul eternal repose in heaven, considering that he died within the Easter Period when Christ offered his life as an oblation for the salvation and sanctification of mankind.

“We urge you and members of your government to take heart and bear the tragic incident with Christian fortitude while hoping that he would rise with Christ in the morning of the Resurrection.

“Accept our deepest condolences and, please, extend the same to his family.”
