Angry mob set 3 men ablaze for alleged theft of music equipment in Delta

Angry mob in Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State has been reported to have carried out jungle justice on three suspected robbers who are alleged to have stolen musical equipment belonging to a local Disc Jockey (DJ).

Topnaija.NG gathered that the incident occurred on Friday at Ofuoma community, near Afiesere, Ughelli on Friday, where the angry mob were said to have descended on three suspected robbers and set them ablaze after they were reportedly caught trying to rob a boutique.

Eyewitnesses said prior to that incidence, two suspected robbers had been nabbed and lynched in the locality on Wednesday morning.

The suspects were reported to have stolen DJ equipment worth millions of naira, prompting a community manhunt against them.

It was also gathered that an indigene of the community said to be the gang leader confessed that his mother usually prepared charms for them before embarking on any mission.
