Al Ittihad comes for Mohamed Salah with mouth-watering deal

New week, new problem for Liverpool it will seem as Mohamed Salah has reportedly been offered a mouth-watering deal to exit the Reds this summer by Al Ittihad.

According to Saudi Arabian television station, Al-Riyadiah, Al-Ittihad, the club that recently signed Fabinho from Liverpool, are currently speaking with the representative of Mohamed Salah about a move to the Saudi Pro League.

The Liverpool ace based on reports by Al-Riyadiah has been offered a deal worth €180 million (£155m) over two seasons to leave Anfield for Al-Ittihad.

Al Ittihad are reportedly ready to offer Liverpool  a £60 million bid for Salah’s signature before the window closes.

Al-Ittihad, ended last season as champions of the Saudi Pro League (SPL), and have already strengthened their squad with the signings of Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Fabinho and Jota this summer alone.

Liverpool, on the other hand, have already had their squad thin with the exits of Jordan Henderson to Al-Ettifaq, and Fabinho to Al-Ittihad roughly a week ago.

Salah’s current contract with Liverpool currently runs through to the end of the 2024/25 season after renewing his contract 2 summers ago.

It will very well be interesting to see how this report develops in the coming days as Liverpool are set to take on Chelsea 6 days from now at the Stamford Bridge on return to Premier League hostilities.
