Again, court adjourns Peter Obi’s petition against Tinubu, see new date

The Presidential Election Petition Court has adjourned the pre-hearing of the petition against the Nigeria’s President-elect Asiwaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, by the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to Friday, May 19.

The court headed by Justice Haruna Tsammani fixed the date, following the failure of parties in the petition to agree on documents among other reasons.

Drama ensued at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal on Wednesday when officials of the two factions of Labour Party clashed.
