Actress Daniella Okeke reveals wealth source amid Apostle Johnson Suleman scandal
Nollywood actress Daniella Okeke, previously linked to Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) in a scandal, has spoken out about the allegations and clarified the source of her wealth.
Topnaija recalls that in an interview with Inside Nollywood, Okeke addressed rumours suggesting that her luxurious lifestyle was funded by the cleric. The actress’ residence, valued at approximately N160 million, and her Mercedes Benz 450GL SUV were speculated to have been gifts from Suleman.
Okeke explained that her financial independence stems from her jewellery business in Lagos, alongside her earnings from acting. She remarked, “I’ve come across numerous negative stories about myself, generated by the media to attract traffic. These include accusations of undergoing cosmetic surgeries and now this scandal.
“No one is funding my career or my travels. I own a jewellery shop in Lagos, which has been operational for some time. This business is my primary source of income, and everything I wear comes from my shop. There is no wealthy benefactor behind my success. People are free to believe whatever they wish.”
When asked about her views on intimacy gadgets and sex toys, Okeke stated, “It depends on what works for the individual. If it brings happiness and supports their relationship or marriage, then it’s perfectly fine.
“Ultimately, satisfaction and happiness are what matter. As for my personal use of such items, I prefer to keep that private.”
With these clarifications, Okeke aims to dispel the rumours and underscore her self-reliance and entrepreneurial spirit.
