Osinachi’s mother speaks on daughter’s death, affirms all accusations on Mr. Nwachukwu

Mother of now-deceased Gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu has spoken concerning death of her daughter as she accused the husband of denying family access.

Osinachi’s mother, in a lengthy video with BBC Igbo, narrated how her late daughter’s husband, Peter made life a living hell for the late singer.

According to her, Peter vowed she could only leave the marriage in death.

She said that it got so bad to the point where she had to arrange for her daughter’s separation from the marriage, but her daughter would later return, out of her own will to her jobless husband after 15 months away.

She also confirmed how Osinachi’s younger brother wanted to intervene, unfortunately, Peter stopped him from visiting his home and family.

Diverting a bit, in a recent account, Peter Nwachukwu denied all allegations leveled against him, and also denied claims that he was responsible for his wife’s demise over a series of domestic violence.

Coming back to Osinachi’s mother’s account, she affirmed that when her daughter died, Peter did not let the family know, saying that they heard about her death from outsiders.

According to her, Osinachi refused to open up about her heightened marital crisis, until the neighbours called pleading with the family to act decisively before they would lose her.

TopNaija flashes that Osinachi, who is known for her collaborative hit track Ekwueme, died at an Abuja hospital on Friday, April 8 as a result of domestic violence.

Her husband, Peter Nwachukwu has since been arrested and Josephine Adeh, the FCT command’s spokesperson, confirmed his arrest.
