What will happen to Peter Nwachukwu if proven guilty – IGP speaks
The IGP, Usman Alkali has revealed what would happen to Peter Nwachukwu, husband of the late gospel singer, Osinachi, if found guilty of her murder.
The Inspector-General of Police, Akali revealed that if the post-mortem on the deceased found him culpable, he would be charged to court.
The Inspector-general also weighed in on the matter, stating that the domestic violence that lead to the eventual death of the Gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu was condemnable, immoral, illegal, and contrary to the provisions of the law.
The IGP stated these when he received the Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Kedem Tallen, who paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the Louis Edet House, Force Headquarters, Abuja, yesterday, April 20.
IGP also added that information from sources close to the family and independent witnesses had pointed out that the deceased husband, Peter Nwachukwu, is responsible for her death.
The IGP said: “The untimely death is heart-breaking, particularly as information from sources close to the family and independent witnesses fingered her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, as being responsible for her death.“
