Twitter user, identified as Tiamiyu Lawal, who threatened to kill comedian and Human Rights activist, Mr. Macaroni has tendered a public apology to him.

TopNaija reports that just after the comedian condemned the reopening of the Lekki tollgates, the Twitter user made a death threat to Mr. Macaroni if he ever see him protesting at the tollgate.

The Lekki Concession Company (LCC) announced that tolling activities will resume at the gate by April.

However, many Nigerians including Me. macaroni objected to it, pointing out that the shooting at the Lekki Toll Gate is still fresh in people’s memories as such, should be left unopened.

Mr. Macaroni, however, shared a death threat message he got from a Twitter user, who threatened to kill him if he sees him protesting the reopening of the toll gate.

The user wrote: “I pray I get hold of him tomorrow at the Toll Gate. I will kill him on sight.”

Debo said: “This is one of the many threats I receive regularly.”

In a public apology tendered on his Twitter handle, the user wrote;

”I am writing this tweet in response to a viral tweet about Mr.Macaroni…I sincerely apologize and retract every content of the tweet…We were having an argument before I lost it completely and went beyond limits…I have never k!lled anyone & I will never do…I am very sorry!!”
